Pull your toes up towards the shin. This must be done bare foot and in a seated position. Hold for 30 sec and repeat three times. Do up to six times a day.

To stretch the calf muscle: hold onto a wall, stand in a staggered stance with the toes of the behind leg facing directly forward. Keep the knee straight and lunge forward onto the front leg till you feel a stretch. Hold 30 sec, do 3.
TIP: If you don’t have tenderness directly over the foot, or if pain persists, then seek help from a health professional (Physio). You may have referred pain from somewhere else (eg nerve pain) or need more direct treatment.
